During the last week of May, some residents may have noticed that their mailboxes were empty for several days even though they were expecting mail. The reason was that the mailboxes had been vandalized and the correspondence stolen, so UPS decided to stop delivering mail.

Upon detecting the vandalized mailboxes, USPS contacted the property management company to notify the issue so it could be remediated. Immediately the property management company contacted the HOA Board of Directors and started working together toward a resolution of the problem. We immediately contacted the company that provides security services to the community, which provided video footage of the act, where a person can be seen vandalizing the mailboxes and stealing all the correspondence. We have worked with the property management company to notify the police and make the report providing them with all the evidence we were able to collect from our surveillance cameras installed in the pool area. Unfortunately, we also learned that this was not an isolated case, and in fact, it has been happening in the communities of the area.

The bad news is that all the correspondence that was in the mailboxes at the time was stolen, and the likelihood of ever recovering it is very low. The good news is that any correspondence that arrived after the act, even though it wasn't in the mailboxes, it was not lost, since USPS kept it in their offices to prevent it from being stolen again and can be picked up at any time. We are working with the property management company to replace the damaged mailboxes as soon as possible. In the meantime, The USPS has resumed the normal delivery of mail.

If you have some missing correspondence from around the last week of May, you may go to the postal office to check if they have it there. All the missing mail that was not delivered can be collected at:
